Additionally, Marianne embraces strengths-based methods that leverage competence and multiple perspectives, which in turn generate an openness to change. This results in mobilization of energy within an individual, team or organization for focused action.

Her most recent work with the Southcentral Foundation, a 2011 Malcolm Baldrige award winner, perfectly illustrates the effectiveness of her approach. At SCF she used her in-depth understanding of systems, teams, and leadership dynamics to help them become a nationally and internationally recognized healthcare system. Her contribution earned the following praise from the VP of Medical Services and the Director of Nursing:

“Marianne has done outstanding work with SCF in executive team development, clinical team development and individual and team coaching. She listens deeply … then consults her wealth of knowledge, expertise and tools and readily applies them in an effective way.”

“For the first time we know of, she has taught physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to intervene, and (coach) mentor in truly effective ways … She succeeded in helping physicians and nurses manage their most challenging patients and learn to work better in teams."

A sample of healthcare clients includes: Austin Heart, C.R. Bard, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Covenant Medical Group, Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and UMass Memorial Health Care. She has worked in Austria, Belgium, Canada, England, Germany, Switzerland and South Africa.

Marianne is a co-founder of the Healthcare Initiative and a faculty member at the Gestalt International Study Center. She holds a BBA from Bishop’s University, Lennoxville, Quebec, and a M.Ed. from Boston University, Boston, MA. She is also a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland’s Organization and Systems Development program.
