Are you looking to develop your skills in organizational consulting and development, executive coaching, individual or family therapy, social work or social change? Our practitioner programs are mulit-disciplinary, so you will find them all valuable to any application involving facilitating change. However, we do have specific paths of study for different roles. Call our office for help in choosing the right programs for your individual consulting, coaching, therapeutic practice development, or if you are interested in extending your influence in any role.
One of GISC's unique features is that we train not only practitioners-consultants, coaches, and therapists - but also organizational leaders, executives, and other professionals. This makes for a diverse and rich environment where the work of one group serves to inform and enliven the other. Many of our practitioner participants find great value in the cross-training advantages of taking programs originally developed
for leaders and other individuals, and in the perspective that comes from learning with people from other disciplines. Please visit those sections for additional program options.
Sending Clients to GISC Programs
Consultants and coaches have also sent their clients to our leadership and personal development programs with great success. Please see our page on sending clients
for more information.
GISC is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychotherapists (APA, CE) for all programs we offer. Eight practitioner programs have been approved for Social Work Continuing Education hours, in accordance with Massachusetts 258 CMR by the NASW-MA Collaborative. GISC offers fourteen programs that are ICF-certified or certification-pending at time of publication for coaches. Please see program descriptions for details.
