Transforming the way you live and work in the world

Working with the Body in Mind

Edinburgh, Scotland

This training course will provide a safe learning environment where practitioners can develop their capacity to work with people via physical process and embodied experience. The focus will be on exploring our own embodied experience and the relational embodied experience of work with individuals, couples, families and groups.

Underpinned by gestalt theory and practice, this course was developed as part of the Gestalt International Study Center (GISC) training programme. GISC is an educational nonprofit organisation offering advanced professional training worldwide for leaders, consultants, coaches, counsellors and therapists. GISC pioneered an effective strengths-based approach to working with individuals, couples, families, groups and organisations, known as the Cape Cod Model©.

“This course challenged my assumptions about the field of work in a most appropriate and constructive manner. I approached the course hoping for a roadmap and gained a far deeper appreciation of both the practical and complex nature of this topic. Both Archie and Ann were equally superb and I hope to bring many colleagues and clients to this course, which is an important part of the curriculum. Bravo to both!”
