Our board of directors reflects the same creative blend of leaders, therapists, consultants, coaches and academics that make up our faculty and our program participants. Their extraordinary commitment to GISC is based on their personal experience of the value of our programs.
President & CEO
A member of the leadership team since 2008, Laurie Fitzpatrick is President and CEO of GISC. She draws on her Gestalt training as well as her background in international small business management and communications to advance GISC’s vision to bring about transformative growth in the individuals and organizations it serves. Laurie is a graduate of Simmons College and Harvard University's writing program. She is a GISC and ICF Certified Coach.
Co-Director, Cape Cod Training Program
With over 30 years' experience as a Gestalt practitioner, Sharona maintains a practice in Newton, MA as psychotherapist, coach, consultant and trainer. She has provided training, consultation, and coaching in corporate, non-profit and academic institutions in the US and abroad.

Joe is a couples and family therapist, an organizational consultant, and author of numerous articles and book chapters on intimacy, ethics, and small groups. He has taught worldwide and is founding editor of Gestalt Review. He also serves on the GISC Board of Directors.
Co-Director of Leadership Development
With over 30 years' experience in human resources and organizational development, Adriana has coached numerous companies and employees across the country. She has acted as a facilitator and consultant to executives in such areas as management training, organizational development, innovative relationship building and change management.
Co-Director of Leadership Development
Leadership coach and global organization development consultant. Debra brings cross-cultural experience to her passion for the learning and growth of organizations and people. With over 30 years' business experience, Debra’s capabilities include organizational effectiveness, change management, leadership coaching and cultural awareness. She's a member of GISC's board of directors.
Co-Director of Coaching
President of Synchrony Point Coaching & Consulting, providing executive and leadership development coaching for individuals and teams, and operational consulting services for organizations. Grounded in deep business experience, an academic foundation in organizational psychology, and Gestalt principles, Jamie has over 30 years' experience managing complex business initiatives and leading service, sales, and marketing teams.
Co-Director of Coaching
A Gestalt practitioner with over thirty years' experience as a therapist, coach, consultant and trainer, Stuart is a partner at Management Support Services, Inc. and maintains a private practice in psychotherapy and coaching in Newton, MA. He is also a consultant, coach and trainer for the Corporate Education Group©. Stuart holds the ICF Master Certified Coach credential and teaches on the Cape Cod Training Program faculty.
