Want to learn what coaching is about and how it gets results? Would you like to learn coaching skills to apply in a new or existing career? Join us for this experiential session, which will include a coaching demonstration, instruction, and a question-and-answer opportunity with GISC’s coaching faculty. Learn about our approach and what it takes to become a credentialed coach.
This is a ninety-minute introductory session for our Competency Development Program for Coach Certification: Skills for High-Impact Coaching, which is offered each year online or in-person. The interactive presentation will focus on GISC's powerful approach to coaching which produces rapid and enduring growth and change. We will explore the concept of Polarities and its use in removing resistance to change. These powerful coaching techniques, along with other theories and practices that support the coaching process, are embedded in our coach certification program. This introduction – and GISC’s initial coach training program – is designed for those considering a move into the practice of coaching as well as for those currently working as coaches and seeking certification. Successful completion of the CompetencyDevelopment Program for Coach Certification results in a GISC Certified Coach credential and the opportunity to pursue credentialing by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
The final portion of the program will be devoted to a question-and-answer session with our Competency Development Program for Coach Certification faculty. This is an opportunity ask faculty questions about coaching, our Gestalt approach, or the certification program.
